Finals

The adjudicators will choose the top three groups in each ensemble division. The third place trophy will be awarded in each division, following the late afternoon concert in the high school gym. Only the top two ensembles will compete in the evening finals show. First and 2nd places will be awarded at the conclusion of finals. Junior High trophies will be awarded immediately after the junior high competition is completed. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 combos and soloists based on number of entries, but they will not perform in the evening.
Finals will begin promptly at 7 pm.

The trophies are handed out at the finals concert. One Outstanding Instrumental Soloist trophy and one Outstanding Vocal Soloist trophy will be awarded, based upon evening competition. Additional instrumental and vocal soloist plaques will be presented based on preliminary performances.

There will be a 15 minute time limit that will be strictly enforced for finals competition. One new chart not performed during prelims must be performed for finals, with the exception of middle and junior high schools. Failure to perform a new chart in the finals will result in a second place finish. Any school is welcome to perform for adjudication only.
